Volunteer Wellington is your Community Connector. We connect and strengthen the community and voluntary sector through volunteer engagement, professional development, networking opportunities, support and mentoring services. Our three offices support more than 300 community organisations by:
- Recruiting a diverse range of volunteers through our recruitment and referral service.
- Brokering team volunteering projects between businesses and our community members.
- Providing consultancy and advice services to support the development of effective volunteer programmes.
- Organising workshops, seminars, networking forums and celebratory events. Our programmes cover all aspects of volunteering and related topics.
Volunteer Wellington is an incorporated Charitable Trust registered in Wellington in August 1992. Volunteer Wellington is recognised by the IRD as a charitable organisation.
